On HS2’s Colne Valley Viaduct, Align Joint Venture needed to de-risk a critical, highly weather-dependent operation: lifting and installing 1,000 precast segments using a 700-tonne launch girder. Align worked with MetSwift to build a site-specific 10-day forecasting tool, trained on real data from six weather stations on site.
